  • What time is check-in and check-out?

    Laburnum House check-in is from 3:00pm, and check-out is by 11:00am (or 10:00am when booked through a third party website). 


    Early check-in and late check-out is charged at £10 per hour, and is subject to availability. Please email us your request, if this is desired.

  • When will I receive the check-in details?

    Check-in details are sent out at 8:00am on the morning of check-in. 


    Please Note: After making your booking, you will receive an email including a link to your check-in form. This form take 2 minutes and must be completed in order to receive your check-in details.

  • Is parking available?

    Yes, on-street unrestricted and free parking is available outside of Laburnum House.

  • Is the property family-friendly?

    Yes, our property is family-friendly. 

    A travel cot is available at the property. 

    Laburnum House has a whiteboard on the garden wall, and there is a park for the children only a 2 minute walk from the property.

  • Are pets allowed in the property?

    Unfortunately, at this time, no pets are allowed in the property.

  • What are the house rules?

    To ensure a pleasant stay for all of our guests, we kindly ask you to follow these house rules:


    - No smoking inside of the property (a cigarette bucket is provided in the garden)

    - No parties or loud gatherings

    - Only the number of guests on the booking can stay in the property

    - Respect the neighbours (quiet times are between 10pm - 7am)

    - Pets are not allowed

    - Please take care of the property and report any damages immediately

    - Avoid marking towels and bedding with, make-up, fake tan or hair dye etc.

    - Lock the doors and upon checkout place the key back inside the lockbox.


    Please Note: These rules are agreed upon when placing a booking. We has the right to terminate your booking at any time if these rules are abused.

  • What are the benefits to booking directly?

    1. Booking on this website allows for the cheapest possible rates, generally saving 10-20% over third-party booking websites.


    2. Third-party websites offer a check-out by 10:00am, whereas booking directly you automatically receive an extra hour free of charge (check-out by 11:00am).

  • What complimentary items are provided in the property?

    - In the kitchen there is plenty of tea, coffee, and sugar, with hot chocolate sachet treats. Kitchen roll, washing up liquid, salt and pepper are also provided.


    - In the bathroom you'll find toilet roll, air freshener and hand soap.


    - Towels are in the bedroom and all bedding linen is freshly ready for a comfy night sleep.


    - There are also local attraction leaflets in the living room where we are sure you will find something great to enjoy during your visit.

  • How often is the property cleaned?

    The property is always cleaned upon check-out ready for the next guests.


    With a booking of 3 weeks or more, an additional free mid-stay clean is booked fortnightly. This clean includes a towel and linen change, and a top-up of complimentary items.


    A clean can be carried out weekly instead of fortnightly, if preferred, for an additional cost.

  • How do I extend my booking?

    Extending your reservations is subject to availability.

  • What are the cancellation policies & How do I cancel my booking?

    - Full refund for cancellations made (before 3:00pm) 30+ days before check-in.


    - 50% refund for cancellations 7–30 days before check-in.


    - No refund for cancellations less than 7 days before check-in.


    - Full refund for cancellations within 48 hours of booking, provided the stay is at least 14 days away.


    - Early departures are non-refundable.

  • What is the minimum number of nights I can book?

    The minimum night stay varies depending on the time in which the booking is place:


    - If you book 84 nights in advance, the minimum night stay is 27 nights or more


    - If you book between 56 - 84 nights in advance, the minimum night stay reduces to 14 nights or more


    - If you book between 28 - 56 nights in advance, the minimum night stay reduces to 7 nights or more


    - If you book 28 nights in advance, the minimum night stay reduces to 4 nights on weekdays (Sunday - Thursday), and only 2 nights on weekends (Friday & Saturday)


    - On the rare occassion there are any small gaps available in the diary, within 60 days in advance, a minimum of 1-2 night bookings can be found available. Please Note: All 1 night bookings are charged at a premium. 

  • Why has the price changed since I last checked these dates?

    We are partnered with PriceLabs, which is a plug-in software that automatically update the prices on our behalf daily. This price change is based on demand, occupancy and events in the local area, as well as inflation. Prices can go up or down at any point based on these updates.

  • If you're visiting for a celebration...

    ...whether this is for a birthday, anniversary, graduation or anything else. 


    With enough notice we can decorate the living room or bedroom, for an extra special suprize, with banners, balloons, and provide a card from our team.


    We will try our best to accommodate your special visit.
